I am lucky enough to have a whole room dedicated to photography in my new flat, with my prop collection arranged in colour order over many shelves.
I have been collecting these props for almost my entire life, digging around in car boot sales, jumble sales and charity shops, snaffling clothes and other bits and pieces that I now use to decorate my work.
One of my friends asked:
Isn’t this just an excuse to hoard things?
To which I answer:
Obvs.
