More table-ware joy from my beloved crockery collection.
On the right, my very favourite of all, star-covered Danish ceramics, (bowl pictured), found in a huge Salvation Army shop in Copenhagen.
In the centre some beautifully painted dinner plates, in wonderful condition for their age (I think 1950s) – I found these in a charity shop in Skipton in the Yorkshire Dales, at the beginning of a 30km hike. With no suitable backpack, my star of a brother carried the set of six for all 30 kilometres.
And my pink espresso cups, bought as part of a set in Vietnam, where I lived and worked for a year.
So many memories on this table, of life and of the hunt for beautiful ceramics.
